Handmade Hollow Core Glass Focal Bead: Ivory/Amber/Coral

This is a one-of-a-kind bead. It was created using a fluid mix of ivory, amber and coral glass, which is what produces its design. It is hollow at the core, making it considerably lighter than normal beads of this size.

For a bit of fun, I filmed part of the making of this bead and put it to music. The short video is below. The music I used is an impromptu jam session by Lily and I and our friends Warwick and Katharina. We recorded that musical moment during our Lost Year living in a tiny medieval village near the french border...

Bead is 28mm at its widest point. Mandrel/bead hole size is 2mm.

These beads were handmade by our own Tim James in our Tuscany, Italy studio. Glass used: Italian glass from the Venetian island of Murano.

Since these beads are handmade, please be aware that there may be slight variances in size and shape. Beads are annealed in a digital kiln for strength and durability and are cleaned and inspected for excellence.
