The Big Bang Necklace: Handmade / Hand-Embroidered

Weeks of daily work went into the creation of this one-of-a-kind bead embroidered necklace. Lily's idea was to include some of the unique components that she has been setting aside for just the right project.

Materials used include a large piece of genuine vintage Baltic Amber, rhinestone cup-chain, hand-painted buttons and a hand-made ceramic focal cabochon from artisans in the Czech Republic, Japanese seed and accent beads, Bohemian glass and crystal, and Lily's own hand-woven beads. Italian Wire Mesh was used to create the glistening metallic background for the delightful assortment of hand-embroidered embellishments. Finished with a comfortable-to-wear braided silk and mesh ribbon strap.

Total length from the clasp to the widest part of the pendant is approx. 18.5 inches (47 centimeters).

*Though the necklace is certainly made to be worn, it can also be hung on the wall to enjoy as a piece of art, between occasions.
