Hand-woven spiral pendant featuring Miyuki seed beads in shades of cream and bronze. Adorned with a gold-plated leaf charm along with a feather and chunky freshwater pearl dangle. Strung on Italian wire mesh ribbon with silk cord insert. And, finished with a sturdy gold-plated toggle clasp.
February’s Flower: Collage-Treasure Necklace
Techniques Used to Create It: Crochet, needle-felt, applique, bead embroidery Materials: Yarn, Vintage Czech Glass buttons and lamp work, Venetian glass, Italian Resin, Italian wire mesh ribbon, antique-brass plated accents and toggle clasp. Strung on “stuffed silk” cord.
Necklace: Micro-Macrame, Wire Mesh Ribbon & Handmade Glass Beads
Lily has become rather smitten with what is known as micro-macrame lately, and this necklace reflects her new obsession with this ancient craft. This particular piece combines luminous and strong upholstery knotting cord, our Italian Tubular Wire Mesh Ribbon, and lovely and light-weight hollow glass beads with glistening goldstone highlights, handmade by Tim James.
Winter’s Bark Cuff Bracelet
Several materials and techniques went into creating this one -of-a-kind, snug winter cuff bracelet. Designer wool, fibers and Italian wire mesh ribbon were first crocheted and then felted by hand to form the fabric of the cuff. Then, Lily lovingly hand-embroidered a wonderful array of glass and metal beads and embellishments to decorate the piece. The bracelet is secured into place with several (hidden) snaps.
Behind the Veil – Wrapped Bracelet
Made with high-quality European leather cord, woven with glass pearls and matte glass beads. Two layers of Italian Wire Mesh Ribbon encase the bracelet giving it a unique and interesting look. A silver-plated button snuggly secures the bracelet in place.

Sacre' Boheme: Mesh Ribbon Necklace
Part of our Sacred Feminine series, this totally unique and one-of-a-kind necklace features an interesting array of components lovingly hand-stitched onto titanium-toned Italian wire mesh ribbon, reinforced with thick silk-satin cord for stability. The mesh is lovingly decorated with a shimmering array of vintage mother-of-pearl buttons, and seed beads. The hand-made glass pendant by Tim James is covered in a delicate web of mesh and decorated with vintage elements, including an interesting "miraculous metal" from our extensive collection of vintage Italian and French sacred metals and charms.
Full Zodiac Charm Bracelet
This unique sterling silver charm bracelet features the full set of astrological charms. Each sterling silver charm is coupled with a corresponding hand-made dangle, which features a crystal or stone in the appropriate color for that particular sign of the zodiac. There are 24 charms/dangles in all. The bracelet base is a sterling silver looped cuff that has been woven with Italian Wire Mesh Ribbon and hand-dyed silk cord, in colors that reflect the four elements of the zodiac, (water, fire, air and earth). The piece is finished with a solid sterling silver and marcasite clasp, for added stability.
Strawberry Fields Necklace
I have been working with Italian wire mesh ribbon for years now, and it never ceases to amaze me how versatile this amazing material is! In this necklace, a soft hand-dyed silk tube is decorated with the mesh in both white-silver and light sage green. Then the whole piece is hand-embellished with glass beads and silver plated floral bead caps. The pendant features a hand-made lamp-work bead by artist Tim James, as well as a hand-made ceramic bead by a local Italian artist. Hand-made silver-plated filigree dangles decorate the heart. The piece is finished with soft braided leather for cool summer wear.

The Ruffled Glow
Working with Italian Wire Mesh ribbon is one of Lily's passions...so much so, that we sell the ribbon itself, and use it in many of our finished designs. This necklace features the 20mm ribbon in several luscious colors held together by a filigree and dichroic glass slider that Lily fashioned together especially for this purpose. Finished with a sturdy toggle clasp, it is lightweight, but packs quite a visual punch!
The Crooked Path Necklace
This necklace shows the sheer versatility one can enjoy while working with Italian wire mesh ribbon. In this piece, the ribbon is crocheted, wrapped, macramed, ruffled, molded and pressed, and the process took at least 15 meters of the ribbon to complete! The piece is embellished with French "miraculous metal" charm, Japanese seed beads, antique brass and finished with a lovely hand-embellished Italian tassel.
